Cheba Hut Opens Second Oklahoma Shop in Edmond's Spring Creek Plaza

The restaurant serves more than 30 signature toasted subs named after cannabis strains, with sizes called Nug (4-inch), Pinner (8-inch) and Blunt (12-inch). Best-sellers include the White Widow, the Kali Mist, the Dank and the Griefo, according to the company. The menu also has sides such as pretzel nugs and garlic cheese bread, plus Krispy Bars and a Kool-Aid bar.

The location includes a patio and a full-service bar, the company said. Local artist Kid Lennon, who created the Uptown 23rd design, produced custom wall art blending Oklahoma roadside Americana, Route 66 imagery and surreal elements.

Cheba Hut operates as a marijuana-themed fast-casual chain and was founded in 1998. Data firm LOOP AI named it the "Most Loved Delivery Brand" this year based on customer sentiment and delivery satisfaction analysis, the company said.

The Edmond store will be open daily from 10 a.m. to midnight.

This marks Cheba Hut's first expansion into a second metro following its 2023 entrance into Oklahoma, when the ownership group opened the Uptown 23rd Street location in Oklahoma City. The group is targeting additional sites beyond the state's three largest metro markets.
