CBSE released 87% of Class 12 revaluation results in the first phase. Remaining outcomes will follow in stages. The board faces scrutiny over handwriting discrepancies in scanned answer sheets.
The Central Board of Secondary Education on Sunday began releasing outcomes for Class 12 revaluation applications. Of the total requests received, 87% were declared in the first batch, the board said in a post on X. The remaining results will follow in phases, with no firm deadline given beyond "soon."
Students can check updated marks on the official CBSE website or at results.digilocker.gov.in using their login credentials. The revaluation process covers verification of marks and re-evaluation of answer scripts for students who applied after the initial board results.
The phased release comes as students face deadlines for college admissions and other academic requirements. Any delay in receiving updated scores can affect seat allocation, especially for competitive courses where cutoffs are tight.
CBSE has faced scrutiny in recent weeks after several Class 12 students alleged that scanned answer sheets provided by the board did not match their handwriting. The claims raised questions about the accuracy of the online answer-script management system and the handling of physical scripts. The board has not yet issued a detailed response to those allegations.
For now, the revaluation outcomes are being delivered in tranches. Students whose applications were not in the first batch will need to wait for subsequent releases. The board said the entire process is expected to be completed soon, without specifying a date.
