Cast Insights Raises $4.5M to Turn Speech Into Intel

Cast Insights, a San Francisco startup founded in 2025, has raised a $4.5 million pre-seed round led by Abstract Ventures. HF0, Village Global, Max Ventures, Embassy Ventures, and Stratus Ventures also participated.

The company's AI platform ingests publicly available spoken content from television, radio, podcasts, and livestreams and converts it into structured, real-time data. The goal is to replace manual monitoring with a searchable archive of spoken word.

The platform targets hedge funds, policy teams, strategy groups, and newsrooms. Cast Insights says it can track emerging narratives, compare statements across time and sources, and send alerts when meaningful speech occurs.

The round will fund the platform's expansion as it ingests speech at a global scale.
