Cartier Resources Inc. (TSX-V: ECR) shareholders voted in the company's full director slate at the annual meeting June 16. The board named Philippe Cloutier as president and CEO, with Jean-Yves Lavoie, Alain Bouchard, and others continuing in their roles.
KPMG LLP was reappointed as auditor for the coming year.
The company operates the Chimo Mine project near Val-d'Or, Quebec, one of the region's more advanced gold exploration assets. Cartier has been drilling to extend known mineralisation along the property's three gold-bearing structures.
Directors elected: Philippe Cloutier, Jean-Yves Lavoie, Alain Bouchard, Michel Bouchard, and Pierre Carrier. Officers named after the meeting include Cloutier as CEO, Lavoie as chairman, and Bouchard as CFO.
