Build Station's new Sharjah branch opens July 5, expanding its UAE retail network and marking a step in its regional growth plan. The move could support revenue.
Marketing Home Group for Trading Co., which operates the Build Station retail chain, said it will open a new branch in Sharjah on July 5. The company announced the plan through its subsidiary Build Station L.L.C., adding to its network of home improvement stores in the United Arab Emirates.
The Sharjah branch adds a physical location in one of the UAE's fastest-growing emirates. Sharjah's population and commercial activity have expanded steadily, driven by investment in infrastructure and retail. Build Station did not disclose the size of the new store or the expected investment. The company's existing stores cover a range of building materials, tools, and home improvement products.
The opening date is set for the first half of July. With the new location, Build Station will have a presence in a market with rising demand for construction and renovation supplies. The expansion fits a broader push by the company to capture more of the UAE's home improvement spending, which has grown alongside new housing projects.
The branch is expected to be operational by the end of the first week of July.
