Lesnar challenged Femi to the roofed steel cage match after a tense face-off on Raw. The blow-off bout will headline SummerSlam on Aug. 1-2.
Brock Lesnar challenged Oba Femi to a Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam during Monday's WWE Raw. The two met face-to-face days after Femi won the 2026 King of the Ring tournament.
Lesnar opened the segment with a rare compliment. "You cut a great promo, which I never really could. That's why I got Mr. Heyman here," he said, nodding to his longtime manager Paul Heyman. The tone shifted quickly. Lesnar struck Femi below the belt, then hit an F5 and left the ring.
Femi recovered and demanded a third match. Lesnar countered by proposing the Hell in a Cell stipulation for SummerSlam, a two-night event in Minneapolis on August 1 and 2.
The rivalry stands at one win each. Femi dominated Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 earlier this year, prompting Lesnar to tease retirement. He returned and won a rematch at Clash in Italy in May. The Hell in a Cell match – fought inside a roofed steel cage with no disqualifications – will settle the score.
The segment drew a loud reaction from the live crowd, with chants for both wrestlers. No other matches have been announced for SummerSlam yet.
