Brigade eyes Chennai with ₹1,100cr hotel expansion

BHVL entered Tamil Nadu in 2017 with the Holiday Inn Chennai OMR IT Expressway, its first hotel outside Karnataka. The 202-key property sits on the city's IT corridor and caters to technology and ITeS companies, with meeting rooms, a business centre, and leisure facilities.

The company now operates nine hotels with more than 1,600 keys across Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Mysuru and GIFT City in Gujarat. Verma said. Another nine projects are in the pipeline across Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram and Vaikom Island. Those will add roughly 1,700 keys, bringing BHVL's total inventory close to 3,300 keys.
