Blinkit Pork Delivery Used in Hate Prank During Kolkata CJP Rally

A Kolkata man delivering a small pack of pork bacon by Blinkit became the unwilling instrument of an online harassment attempt during a CJP protest on Sunday, according to a social media post that has drawn attention to gig-worker safety and platform misuse.
The Instagram user "sajahan_anyways" posted a carousel describing the sequence. He was near a protest site at Sealdah when a Blinkit notification arrived. The message greeted him with "Hey Mullah" and said a user named Shourjya Shikhar Betal had ordered a delivery to that location, scheduled to arrive within nine minutes.
The order, received on cash-on-delivery terms, was a small pack of pork bacon. The user said the sender had not paid in advance.
"You sending me Pork with my name as 'Hey Mullah' will not make me hate you. Neither will it stop me from believing what is right," the user wrote. "You should not have sent that in COD. The least you could've done was pay for what you have ordered. Under this regime, ₹ 228 is luxury, brother."
The post then turned to the delivery person, a man the user said was named Mohammed. The rider had travelled from Park Street to Sealdah, the user wrote, only to find no recipient present.
