AvevoRx, a private specialty infusion pharmacy provider, announced the close of its acquisition of Sunrise Rx, a Long Island-based operator serving New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. The deal gives AvevoRx a scalable platform in the Northeast, a region that accounts for a disproportionate share of biologic and gene-therapy patient volumes.
The acquisition closed without disclosed terms. Sunrise Rx founders Rich Collins and Dan Manchise will remain involved. Collins leads New York pharmacy operations; Manchise supports growth through a consulting agreement with Mann Medical Consultant Group.
