Aon has appointed Sean Deehan as chief executive officer of its Strategy and Technology Group for Asia Pacific, effective immediately. He is based in Hong Kong and reports to Sherif Zakhary, the global CEO of the group and of Inpoint.
Deehan will focus on expanding adoption of Aon's Life Risk Modeling Suite in the region, including PathWise, the firm's platform for life and annuity risk modeling. His remit also covers Aon's integrated advisory, analytics and technology-led solutions.
He brings more than 25 years of experience across insurance, consulting and risk management, with deep ties to Greater China and broader Asia Pacific. Most recently, Deehan served at Willis Towers Watson as divisional leader for Greater China and head of Hong Kong and Macau. He has also held roles including CEO and executive director of Standard Life (Asia).
