Aon Expands Bobko's Role in Political Risk and Crisis Strategy

Aon expanded Vlad Bobko's role to include global oversight of political risk and crisis management strategy, the firm said Monday. He will also oversee war risk as part of the new mandate, which adds to his existing position as CEO of Central and Eastern Europe and Nordics.

Bobko will report to Joe Peiser, CEO of Risk Capital, for the global strategy duties, and to Kai-Frank Buechter, Co-CEO of EMEA, for his regional leadership. The appointment takes effect immediately.

"Vlad brings extensive experience advising clients on these challenges, along with a deep understanding of international risk markets. His expertise will help shape our strategic approach as we continue helping clients navigate evolving risks and opportunities."

Bobko joined Aon in 2004 as country manager for Ukraine and later held leadership roles across Central and Eastern Europe. He has led Crisis Management activities at Aon's Global Broking Center in London since 2013, overseeing structured credit and political risk teams.
