Angela Yee, Allan Houston to Headline Free Youth Basketball Event in Times Square

“Community Thru Hoops represents what is possible when sports, media, business and community unite around a common purpose,” Tameek Floyd, CEO of Three K3ys Inc., said in a press release. His company organized the event with Pathways to Abundance, a nonprofit.

The program also includes a youth basketball showcase, a dunk contest, live DJs, interactive fan experiences, games, prizes, giveaways, and local business activations. Three K3ys Inc. focuses on sports, entertainment, and community engagement through athletics and education. Pathways to Abundance works on education, mentorship, wellness, and economic opportunity.

The event is free and open to the public. It takes place in Times Square on Monday, Aug. 17.
