Atomberg's DRHP reveals A91 Partners sold ~₹445 crore in shares, retaining a 21.02% stake as the largest shareholder ahead of the company's IPO.
Atomberg Technologies' DRHP filing shows A91 Partners has sold shares worth roughly ₹445 crore ahead of the company's planned IPO.
The venture capital fund first backed the consumer appliances maker in 2019 and has put about ₹143 crore into the company across primary and secondary transactions, according to Atomberg's draft red herring prospectus.
Of that total, ₹118 crore went into the company as primary capital. The rest – ₹25 crore – was deployed to acquire shares from existing shareholders.
Even after selling down, A91 remains Atomberg's largest shareholder with a 21.02 percent holding, the DRHP showed.
The early exit path is not unique to A91. Existing shareholders have collectively undertaken secondary sales worth about ₹683 crore since 2019, the filing shows. Parampara Early Stage Opportunities Fund has sold shares worth roughly ₹116 crore, making it the second-largest seller. Founders Manoj Meena and Sibabrata Das have also monetised portions of their holdings.
The secondary transactions let early investors realise returns before the public listing while bringing in new investors without increasing Atomberg's share capital.
Atomberg started out making BLDC ceiling fans and has since moved into kitchen and home appliances – mixer grinders, water purifiers, cold-pressed juicers. It also runs a proprietary components business, supplying motors and controllers to other appliance companies.
The company's revenue from operations rose 34.8 percent to ₹1,293.77 crore in FY26 from ₹959.51 crore a year earlier. Atomberg remained loss-making, reporting a restated loss of ₹148.88 crore for FY26.
The IPO includes a ₹450-crore fresh issue alongside an offer for sale of 76.54 million shares. Atomberg plans to deploy part of the fresh capital toward debt repayment, brand building and R&D as it scales its appliance portfolio and distribution network.
