TASI Retreats Slightly as Trading Volume Hits SAR 4.5 Billion

The Saudi benchmark index TASI dipped 0.1% to 11,263 points on SAR 4.5 billion in turnover as heavyweights like Aramco and Riyad Bank faced selling pressure.
The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) saw a marginal decline in its latest session, shedding 0.1% to close at 11,263 points. Market activity remained steady with a total turnover of SAR 4.5 billion recorded for the day.
Energy and utilities stocks faced downward pressure during the session. Saudi Aramco shares retreated by less than 1%, finishing at SAR 27.50. Similarly, Acwa Power saw a decline of over 1%, settling at SAR 165.90.
In the banking and industrial sectors, Riyad Bank experienced a 2% drop, ending the day at SAR 21.44. Eastern Cement also tracked lower, closing at SAR 21.44, representing a 2% loss.
