Securitize expects $400M in gross proceeds from its SPAC merger. The tokenization firm will trade on the NYSE under SECZ starting July 2.
Securitize will start trading on the New York Stock Exchange on July 2. Shareholders of Cantor Equity Partners II approved the business combination, and the deal is expected to close on July 1.
The combined company will operate as Securitize Corp. Its common stock will trade under the ticker SECZ. The listing puts one of the largest real-world asset tokenization firms into U.S. public markets.
Securitize expects about $400 million in gross proceeds from the transaction. That includes a related private investment in public equity financing. The company said fewer than 30% of Cantor Equity Partners II shareholders chose to redeem their shares, leaving more than 71% of the SPAC trust intact. The deal included an oversubscribed $225 million private investment round.
CEO Carlos Domingo said tokenization is moving into the mainstream and that becoming a public company gives Securitize the visibility, credibility, and capital to lead the next phase of growth. The business combination valued the firm at $1.25 billion.
Securitize provides infrastructure for tokenized funds and securities. Its clients include BlackRock, Apollo, KKR, Hamilton Lane, and VanEck. The firm manages BlackRock's BUIDL tokenized money market fund, one of the largest tokenized Treasury products.
During the first quarter of 2026, Securitize recorded $1.9 billion in transaction volume. BlackRock led a $47 million funding round for the firm in 2024.
The listing comes as large financial firms show more interest in real-world asset tokenization. Cantor Equity Partners II shares rose as much as 20% on Monday before the approval news.
Securitize has expanded beyond money market funds. Ethena Labs planned a $250 million allocation to Securitize's tokenized AAA-rated CLO fund after the product moved to Solana. That fund invests in U.S. dollar-denominated AAA-rated collateralized loan obligation tranches. BNY supports the product as custodian and sub-adviser through BNY Investments.
Tokenized money market funds have become a growing focus for large asset managers including BlackRock and Franklin Templeton. Securitize's NYSE debut will test how public investors value tokenization infrastructure as more traditional assets move on-chain.
