Revolut's 75M-user crypto exchange connects to AI assistants like Claude and Gemini, allowing plain-language trading and portfolio analysis without coding.
Revolut has connected its standalone crypto exchange, Revolut X, to third-party AI assistants, allowing customers to execute trades and analyze markets using natural language. Supported tools include Claude, Gemini, OpenClaw, and Cursor, the company said. Users on other systems can connect through a universal skill or command-line interface.
The integration lets users request portfolio summaries, retrieve real-time market data, and set price alerts with simple prompts. Market and limit orders can be placed through conversational commands, eliminating the need to switch back to the native app. Revolut stated that no coding knowledge is required.
Leonid Bashlykov, head of product for crypto at Revolut, said the move speeds up trading workflows.
“AI agents give us much faster workflows, smarter execution, and tighter integration with the tools we use to trade every day,” he said.
Customers can describe trading ideas in plain language and receive structured performance analysis. For example, a user could ask for a grid strategy on Bitcoin over a defined period, and the system returns historical results and risk metrics. Revolut said users must review and approve all generated orders before execution. The company does not guarantee third-party AI tool performance and holds no liability for errors or missed trades.
Rivals have taken similar steps. Gemini introduced agentic trading earlier this year using an open standard for assistant connectivity. Liquid launched Co-Invest, enabling real-time trade execution through conversational interfaces on supported assistants.
Revolut reported more than 75 million retail customers and over 16 million crypto users globally. Its digital asset services operate under a MiCA license through Revolut Digital Assets Europe Ltd. The exchange launched in 2024 and has since expanded across European markets. The company also published integration code on GitHub.
