RB Global raised its full-year outlook for 2026 after second-quarter results that CEO Jim Kessler called “another solid quarter.” The company, which runs online auction marketplaces for used vehicles and heavy equipment, cited growth in its automotive segment and contributions from the BigIron acquisition.
“We delivered another solid quarter, reflecting our growth strategy, the durability of our marketplace, and the commitment of our teams,” Kessler said in the earnings release. BigIron, an agricultural equipment marketplace RB Global bought earlier this year, “strengthens our position in the highly attractive U.S. agriculture market,” he added.
The company now expects higher full-year revenue and adjusted earnings per share than it forecast three months ago. CFO Eric Guerin said the improved outlook reflects “growth in Automotive, contributions from acquisitions, and ongoing cost discipline.”
RB Global did not provide exact figures for second-quarter revenue or net income in the preliminary release. The company plans to file its full quarterly report with securities regulators and hold a conference call later this week.
The earnings come as RB Global integrates BigIron and competes with Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers and other auction platforms. The company operates both digital and live auction channels across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
For the year, RB Global guided to higher capital spending, partly to support the BigIron integration and technology upgrades. The company also raised its dividend and bought back shares during the quarter, Guerin said.
RB Global's Alpha Score sits at 37 out of 100, a Mixed rating within the Industrials sector, reflecting a balanced set of fundamentals and market signals.
The company has scheduled its investor call for Thursday morning.
