ProCap Financial (BRR) has inked a partnership with Ornn AI to feed Ornn's proprietary compute-pricing data into its ProCap Insights platform, the companies said Tuesday. The deal gives ProCap's users a direct view into the cost and availability of AI compute resources – a metric that has become a key input for fund managers valuing the operating costs of AI portfolios.
ProCap is an agentic finance firm that builds tools for institutional investors. The integration means analysts working in ProCap Insights can now layer compute price trends onto their research workflows without switching between data sources. Ornn, for its part, tracks compute costs across cloud hyperscalers and GPU providers, offering a granular read on pricing shifts that institutional buyers rarely see in real time.
The partnership comes as AI infrastructure costs have swung sharply over the past year, partly on the back of GPU supply bottlenecks and shifting hyperscaler capacity plans. ProCap's clients include asset managers and allocators who need to model the capital costs of AI-driven portfolios. Compute pricing data has moved from an edge case to a core input for those firms.
ProCap Financial is listed on the Nasdaq under ticker BRR. The company has been expanding its InsGhts product suite through a string of data partnerships and acquisitions. The Ornn deal is part of a broader push to give allocators a more direct handle on AI-related cost assumptions – something many funds previously estimated from public cloud rate cards or scrapped from earnings calls.
Neither company disclosed the financial terms of the deal.
