NetClass Technology said it expanded its AI-powered language assessment business, signing partnerships with schools and universities. The company will deploy platforms that evaluate English and Portuguese proficiency, it said.
The agreements cover multiple educational institutions. NetClass did not disclose the number or names of the partners. The platforms use the company's AI language assessment technology, which it markets as an alternative to traditional standardized tests.
The move comes as schools and universities increasingly adopt digital tools for language testing, a segment that has seen demand grow after the pandemic. NetClass, listed on Nasdaq under ticker NTCL, has been developing AI assessment products for several years.
"These partnerships are a key step in demonstrating our technology in real-world educational settings," the company said in a statement. "We see significant opportunity in the shift toward automated language evaluation."
The company launched English and Portuguese versions of its platform. It plans to add other languages in future quarters.
