Mulamatila Secondary School has officially opened a new 1x3 classroom block, a project valued at K1.2 million. The infrastructure expansion was funded through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to address severe overcrowding at the institution.
Local officials confirmed that the addition of these classrooms is designed to alleviate the strain on existing school facilities, providing a more conducive learning environment for students. The project underscores the government’s commitment to utilizing the CDF to improve educational infrastructure in rural and underserved areas. By increasing the school's capacity, administrators expect to accommodate a larger student population while meeting standard educational requirements.
Community leaders expressed that the completion of the block marks a significant milestone for local education, as it removes the barriers previously caused by a lack of space. The classroom block is now fully operational, supporting the school’s mission to provide quality secondary education to the surrounding community.
