Mongolian Mining released Q2 2026 operational data for its coking coal mines and the Bayan Khundii gold mine. The company cautioned the figures are unaudited and subject to market and regulatory risks.
Mongolian Mining Corporation released its operational update for the quarter ended June 30, covering production from its coking coal mines in the southern Gobi and the Bayan Khundii gold mine.
The company, the largest listed private mining firm in Mongolia, operates the Ukhaa Khudag coking coal mine through its wholly owned Energy Resources unit and the Baruun Naran mine through majority-owned Khangad Exploration. Both sit in Umnugobi province. The update combines output from those two sites.
On the metals side, Mongolian Mining holds a 50% stake in Erdene Mongol, which runs the Bayan Khundii gold mine in Bayankhongor province. A separate 50.5% interest in Universal Copper covers the White Hill copper deposit and the Urkhut silver deposit.
The company cautioned that the figures are drawn from internal records and may differ from data in periodic reports. It flagged force majeure, market shifts, and regulatory interference as factors that could cause material differences between quarters.
The board includes executive directors Odjargal Jambaljamts and Battsengel Gotov, non-executive directors Enkhtuvshin Gombo and Ariunbayar Byambadorj, and three independent non-executive directors.
