The Austin-based chemical supplier ranked No. 3,746 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list, its fifth appearance. CEO Fred Elabed and CVO Holly Elabed celebrated at the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square.
Lab Alley landed on the Inc. 5000 list for the fifth time, ranking No. 3,746 in the 2026 edition of the annual survey of America's fastest-growing private companies. The Austin-based supplier of high-purity lab chemicals and essential solvents was recognized alongside past honorees including Microsoft, Meta, and Oracle.
CEO Fred Elabed and Chief Visionary Officer Holly Elabed marked the milestone Tuesday at the Nasdaq MarketSite in New York's Times Square, where the company's name appeared on the tower's electronic display.
"Standing in the heart of Times Square as our company was spotlighted on the world stage is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire organization," Fred Elabed said in a statement. "While Holly and I represented Lab Alley at Nasdaq, this achievement belongs to every department, team, and individual in our company."
Holly Elabed called the Nasdaq ceremony "a dream come true" and thanked the team.
The Inc. 5000 ranks companies by percentage revenue growth between 2022 and 2025. To qualify, businesses must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent as of December 31, 2025. Minimum revenue was $100,000 for 2022 and $2 million for 2025. The median three-year revenue growth rate across the 5,000 honorees was 130%, and the group collectively added more than 627,000 jobs over three years.
Lab Alley sells high-purity chemicals and lab supplies through its e-commerce platform, serving researchers, manufacturers, and technical operations nationwide. The company is based in Austin and led by the Elabeds, who founded the business to fill gaps in the specialty chemical supply chain.
Inc. will host its annual conference and gala for honorees October 14-16 in Dallas. The top 500 companies will appear in the fall print edition of Inc. Magazine.
"Every company on the Inc. 5000 has a story of perseverance, smart decision making, and a refusal to sit still," Inc. editor-in-chief Mike Hofman said. "Their growth reflects more than strong financial performance – it reflects creativity, resilience, and the customer focus required to build companies that make a lasting impact."
