Kraft Heinz products, from Heinz ketchup to Lunchables, will appear at Disney's U.S. parks, resorts and cruise ships under a new multiyear deal that gives KHC a captive audience of roughly 100 million visitors a year.
Kraft Heinz struck a multiyear deal with Disney that puts the food company's products into the entertainment giant's U.S. theme parks, cruise ships and resorts, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.
The partnership covers brands such as Heinz ketchup, Jell-O and Lunchables. Financial terms were not disclosed.
For Kraft Heinz, the deal represents access to roughly 100 million visitors who pass through Disney's U.S. properties each year, the Journal said. The company has been working to rebuild its presence in the away-from-home food channel after years of losing shelf space to private-label and smaller brands.
Disney, for its part, consolidates a category that had been split among multiple suppliers. The deal is one of several recent moves by Disney to streamline its food and beverage procurement, the report said.
Kraft Heinz shares rose 1.8% in early trading Monday. Disney shares were flat.
