The Inc. 5000 list ranks the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. by percentage revenue growth over three years. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2022, and be privately held, for-profit, and independent. The minimum revenue for 2022 was $100,000; the minimum for 2025 was $2 million.
Past honorees include Microsoft, Meta, Chobani, Oracle, and Patagonia. This year, the median three-year revenue growth rate among the 5,000 companies was 130%, and the cohort collectively added more than 627,000 jobs over the past three years.
