AIxCrypto Holdings, a Nasdaq-listed company formerly centered on a digital-asset treasury, told investors this week it plans an orderly exit from its crypto holdings. The Aug. 18 filing revealed $577,328 in cash at June 30 against an accumulated deficit of $150.3 million, with $7.94 million burned on operations in the first half alone.
The company's June 30 quarterly report listed 46 bitcoin, 616 ether, 6,659 solana, 1,308 BNB and smaller positions in ADA, LINK, TRX, USDT and XRP. The assets cost $10.43 million to acquire but had a fair value of only $5.21 million on June 30, a $5.22 million gap. AIxCrypto already marks the portfolio to fair value each quarter, so the eventual sale will register a gain or loss only against the carrying value on the date of disposal, not the original cost. The company made no crypto purchases or sales in the second quarter but recorded a $984,364 non-cash remeasurement loss.
The disposal plan disclosed in the Aug. 18 filing is a stated intention, not an executed liquidation. AIxCrypto did not provide a timetable, a post-June 30 balance or expected proceeds. The attached release warned that volatility, shallow market depth, execution timing and custody constraints could cause realized proceeds to be materially less than the June 30 carrying value.
Cash pressure has been building for months. The first-quarter report showed $2.11 million in digital-asset dispositions, a $1.95 million net loss on the portfolio and $4.50 million of operating cash burn. The quarterly filing cited no recurring operating revenue, volatile digital-asset prices and no committed alternative financing, raising substantial doubt about the company's ability to continue as a going concern.
A June financing agreement offers a conditional source of funds. It allows stock sales of up to the lesser of $50 million or 19.99% of pre-agreement voting power, unless shareholders approve issuances above the cap. Each draw is priced at a discount to a three-day trading benchmark and carries a 3% fee. The arrangement creates dilution risk, making the cash raised from stock sales more expensive than a clean exit from the crypto portfolio.
AIxCrypto's pivot to a robotics rental business, RoboShare, took its first step this week. The platform completed its first paid commercial order on Aug. 15 for one Malibu event, deploying six robots across three product types with custom show production. The filing did not disclose revenue, the delivery cost, or whether demand repeats. The company said near-term priorities include validating repeat demand and operating economics in Los Angeles before expanding under a planned 10-city strategy.
The planned crypto sale would end a treasury strategy whose remaining holdings were valued at roughly 50% below aggregate cost at mid-year. Whether RoboShare can ease the liquidity bind depends on repeat orders with unit economics the company has not yet disclosed.
