A public petition has alleged that foreign-funded groups helped drive India's Cockroach Janta Party protests. A BeInCrypto audit of on-chain flows found no public evidence of a broad crypto-funding wave during the movement's July escalation.

The petition, filed with India's Enforcement Directorate, claimed digital assets were used to channel overseas money into the protest movement. BeInCrypto examined wallet activity tied to known protest addresses and major Indian exchange inflows for the period. The audit did not identify any concentrated spike in transaction volumes or unusual wallet patterns consistent with a coordinated funding push.
