Indian Hotels, Lodha Developers, REC, Shree Cement and United Spirits exit that index. Wipro moves to the Nifty Next 50. LIC, Meesho, Bank of Maharashtra, Hindustan Copper, NLC India and REC enter the Nifty 200.
TCS said Monday it received threat-intelligence alerts about a possible leak of basic employee data. The company said there is no indication customer data, customer systems or its own operational systems were affected. Separately, HCL Technologies told exchanges that claims by a hacker group about potential exposure of limited data elements relate to information that may be dated a few years back. There is no evidence of a breach to the company's systems or client engagement, HCL said, adding that further investigation is underway.
Lupin won U.S. FDA approval for its generic Sodium Zirconium Cyclosilicate oral suspension, a treatment for hyperkalemia in adults. The drug is bioequivalent to AstraZeneca's Lokelma.
Lemon Tree Hotels signed for two new properties. One is Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Mcleodganj in Himachal Pradesh, pushing the group's portfolio in the state to 12 hotels. The second is Lemon Tree Premier, Madurai in Tamil Nadu. Both will be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary.
Dilip Buildcon's board approved the sale of its stake in Mekhali Power Transmission Ltd and DBL Renewable Pvt Ltd to Alpha Alternatives Fund Advisors. The combined project cost is about ₹8,400 crore.
