Blue Jay Gold's shares will start trading on the OTCQB under symbol JAYGF on Aug. 18. The listing opens the stock to US investors as the company drills its Steller project in Yukon.
Alpha Score of 44 reflects weak overall profile with moderate momentum, poor value, weak quality, weak sentiment.
Blue Jay Gold Corp. said it received approval from OTC Markets Group for its common shares to trade on the OTCQB Venture Market in the United States. The stock is expected to start quoting under the symbol JAYGF on Aug. 18.
The Vancouver-based explorer listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange keeps those listings unchanged. The OTCQB adds a US trading venue, opening the stock to American investors without a cross-border listing.
“Listing on the OTCQB is the next step for Blue Jay,” CEO Geordie Mark said. “This is about audience. The United States is home to the largest and deepest capital markets in the world, and we want American investors to be able to follow Blue Jay and participate in what we are building.”
Mark pointed to the company’s inaugural drill campaign at its flagship Steller Gold Project in southern Yukon as the story the listing helps tell. Blue Jay has a fully funded, up to 16,000-metre program underway on a district-scale, high-grade gold-silver system that has never been evaluated in its entirety, he said.
The OTCQB is a US exchange regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission, aimed at early-stage and developing companies. Blue Jay’s Steller project is a past-producing mine with exploration upside. The company also holds a portfolio of projects in Ontario.
Shares of Blue Jay Gold were trading at C$0.14 on the TSX Venture Exchange before the announcement.
