The Black British Business Awards 2026 unveiled its finalists this week. The ceremony is scheduled for Oct. 9 at the Hilton Park Lane in London, presented by JPMorganChase. Sponsors include Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Bloomberg, and a dozen other firms from finance and retail.
The awards cover seven categories: STEM, fashion, beauty and consumer, arts and media, entrepreneurs, financial services, professional services, and a new retail and hospitality category.
“At a time when many organisations face increasing complexity in how they champion, recognise and advance Black talent, platforms that visibly celebrate Black leadership and success are more important than ever,” said Dr Sophie Chandauka MBE, chair and executive founder of the BBBAwards.
Goldman Sachs (Alpha Score 57, Moderate) and Morgan Stanley (Alpha Score 61, Moderate) are among the sponsors. Both firms have made diversity metrics part of their annual reporting.
Previous winners include executives from Microsoft and Netflix. Apple, though not a sponsor, has its own diversity initiatives and faces similar talent competition.
