Binance placed second in Fortune's inaugural Crypto 100 list, landing in the centralized finance category. The ranking, compiled by Fortune Crypto's editorial team with analysis from Inca Digital, names the most influential companies in digital assets across ten categories. Binance sits behind only one other firm in CeFi, alongside Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, Bybit, Galaxy Digital, BitGo, and Anchorage Digital.
The recognition follows a string of product launches that extend Binance beyond spot trading. The exchange's tokenized stock offerings, called bStocks, surpassed $400 million in assets under management within their first week, Binance said. Its pre-IPO perpetual contracts tied to SpaceX generated cumulative trading volume of $2.1 billion in 18 days.
Binance also saw its co-founder and co-CEO Yi He named to Fortune's Most Powerful Women in Business list in May, the first executive from a crypto-native company to appear on that ranking in its nearly 30-year history.
Richard Teng, Binance's co-CEO, said the Fortune recognition reflects nearly nine years of work toward building an open and trusted platform. He credited the trust of 320 million registered users across more than 100 countries.
The company processed roughly $34 trillion in trading volume during 2025 alone, bringing its cumulative lifetime volume to $145 trillion, according to Binance.
The bStocks launch bridges digital assets and traditional equities, a segment that other major exchanges have approached cautiously. Binance's ability to move quickly on new products like tokenized stocks and pre-IPO perpetuals sets a benchmark for competitors. The exchange now serves 320 million users and has processed $145 trillion in cumulative volume.
