Alkane Resources drilled a 1,303m hole south of Kaiser targeting a new breccia centre between Boda and Kaiser. The hole returned 3.2m at 0.31 g/t Au and 0.23% Cu.
Alpha Score of 43 reflects weak overall profile with moderate momentum, poor value, weak quality, weak sentiment.
PERTH – Alkane Resources drilled a 1,303-metre diamond hole south of the Kaiser deposit, targeting the footwall of the Solar Fault where a new hydrothermal breccia centre may sit between Boda and Kaiser. The hole, KAI226, returned a 3.2-metre intercept grading 0.31 g/t gold and 0.23% copper in calc-potassic altered monzodiorite cemented breccia.
The company also completed 2,510 metres of reverse circulation drilling across eight holes, testing IP targets and extensions to the two known resources. Boda holds 8.4 million ounces of gold and 1.5 million tonnes of copper. Kaiser holds 1.9 million ounces of gold and 0.4 million tonnes of copper. The 500-metre strike between them is poorly drill tested, and structural modelling flagged it as prospective for a new breccia centre.
One RC hole, KAI225, tested the southeast margin of the Kaiser magnetic complex where no drilling had been done before. It hit inner propylitic alteration with pyrite but no significant gold or copper assays.
Three holes on the northeast flank of the system tested geochemical targets with coincident potassium and chargeability anomalies from reprocessed 2020 IP data. BOD168 returned gold-copper assays in pyrite-sericite phyllic alteration.
A seven-line IP survey over the Haddington prospect in 2025 identified chargeability and resistivity anomalies that may indicate mineralised porphyry systems. Two RC holes at Haddington, totalling 800 metres, intersected gold-copper mineralisation near the contact between monzonite intrusions and volcanic host rocks.
A helicopter-borne Magnetotelluric survey flown over the entire NMPP area north of Boda-Kaiser in late 2025 imaged to depths of 1.2 km. It highlighted several new targets:
Baseline environmental studies are underway for the Boda-Kaiser project alongside scoping studies. Planned exploration over the next 12 months includes further drilling along strike and up dip of KAI226, high-grading mineralisation in the southern section of Boda 2-3, and testing the new MMT targets once validated by geochemistry or ground geophysics.
